D-Ribose is needed by the mitochondria to keep the cells of the body supplied with energy and increases energy production in the heart and muscles. It is a simple carbohydrate molecule found in EVERY cell in the human body.
According to Dr. Sarah Myhill, an M.E. Dr. in the UK, it brings about less delayed fatigue and improvement in muscle pain and aching.
Introducing anything new is not something I take lightly. I only introduce something new or delete something I have been trialling after careful consideration. It is all too easy to slip back into a major relapse without ever being able to pinpoint what the exact cause may have been.
My rule of thumb is....
Only introduce one new thing at a time.
If it has a negative effect, stop it immediately.
If there seems to be no effect, give it a month or two to properly evaluate it.
If there is a positive effect or outcome, monitor it carefully.
